Leading health and social care company Cygnet Health Care have agreed a new sponsorship deal with Taunton Town FC.
Since July 2019, Cygnet Health Care have been the Club’s stadium sponsor, having successfully fulfilled this role for the past four seasons. During this time the partnership has flourished as the club have continued to progress. A new agreement has been sealed which sees Cygnet Health Care become the new sponsor of the North Stand at the ground while also becoming the main sponsor for the front of the away shirts and away shorts.
Chairman Kevin Sturmey commented:” We are delighted that Cygnet Health Care will continue to be a major sponsor and Partner of the club. We have built up a wonderful local relationship over the past four years and we look forward to growing the Partnership further. I am indebted to the Cygnet team nationally and locally who have both really bought in to our plans and ambitions for the future and I look forward to the Partnership continuing for many years to come.
What this does allow us to do is now explore further options for the Stadium as we look to cement our place in the National League and aim to break into the top half and be more competitive over what will be a very long season.”
Cygnet Hospital Taunton’s Active Life Lead at Cygnet Health Care, Stuart Hooper said the partnership allows Cygnet to support the communities in which its services are located. He added: “It’s been fantastic developing this partnership. The club is hugely supportive of the hospital and the service users we bring to games. To have Taunton Town Football Club’s ambitions fit so positively alongside our own, makes for some life changing experiences.
“Sport and being physically active can bring a powerful and positive impact on mental well-being, so we feel we share the same values as the club and are proud to be sponsoring them for a fourth year and wish the club a successful season ahead.”
